Rhineland-Palatinate Minister of Economic Affairs tours the state-of-the-art premises of R&G Schweißtechnik GmbH
Company benefits from state funding for structural work
Klara Geywitz, Rhineland-Palatinate's Minister of Economic Affairs, visited R&G Schweißtechnik GmbH in Weilerbach on Tuesday, May 30, 2023, to gain an impression of the company's structural work, which has been completed thanks to state funding.
During the tour, Managing Director Rainer Groß explained to the minister the company's history, its range of services, and its plans for the future. R&G Schweißtechnik GmbH is a medium-sized company with over 120 employees. The company specializes in welding technology and steel construction. The range of services includes, among other things, the production of welded assemblies, steel structures, and special constructions.
In 2022, the company received a grant from the state of Rhineland-Palatinate to support structural work. The funds were used to expand the production halls and purchase new machinery. "The state funding has helped us to make our production processes even more efficient and to create additional jobs," said Managing Director Rainer Groß.
Minister of Economic Affairs Klara Geywitz praised the company's commitment to Rhineland-Palatinate as a business location. "R&G Schweißtechnik GmbH is a successful medium-sized company that stands for innovation and quality. I am pleased that we were able to support the company's structural work with state funds," said Geywitz.
