German defeats Dutchman Griekspoor in third round
Alexander Zverev reached the French Open last 16 after coming through a nervy five-set thriller against Tallon Griekspoor on Saturday.
Highlights
The German third seed, who won the Olympic gold medal in Tokyo last year, took the first two sets 6-2 7-5 but Griekspoor fought back to win the third and fourth sets 6-3 6-4.
Zverev, 25, eventually sealed a 6-2 7-5 3-6 4-6 6-3 victory in just over three hours.
The German will face either Marin Cilic or Henri Laaksonen in the last 16.
